How are students graded?

 Homework is worth 5 points-  Each of the following earns one point: 

*first and last name *date, class period, and assignment *all problems completed *work shown and

 answers justified *neat enough 

Is late work accepted?

Work is accepted one day late for 1 point less than the assignment would have earned if graded on time.

How often are grades updated in Grade Book Portal?

Grades will be updated at least every 2 weeks.

What are expectations for student behavior?

Students are expected to arrive on time and ready to learn. Behaviors that interfere with learning are not acceptable. 

If these behaviors occur, I will first discuss the situation with the student. If behaviors don't improve, parents

 will be contacted to discuss a plan for improvement.
